March ~ Manhattan, Kansas 3rd Father/Daughter Banquet 4th Westview Community Church Sunday School 11th Westview Community Church Youth Group Summer ~ St. Louis, Missouri His Cinderella Conference October ~ Fort Lauderdale, Florida His Cinderella Conference Psalm 40:3, 5, 7-10: "He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord.... Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare. Then I said, 'Here I am, come with the scroll written for me. I desire to your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.' I proclaim righteousness in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, as you know, O Lord. I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and salvation." It is our desire is to be a tool in equipping and encouraging young people with God's truths. One way we seek to do that is by speaking at conferences, seminars, youth groups, churches, retreats, Bible studies, college groups, school classrooms and school assemblies. When Kathryn speaks she normally shares her testimony as a foundation (the main focus is normally on yielding our lives to the Lord). For example, in speaking to college students she often focuses on looking ahead to our desires and plans for the future and uses her testimony to tie in how we can trust the Lord with our futures and our entire lives. Often the main testimony is then a springboard into other speech topics. She and her family have recently spoken on: evangelism, working with children, the 3 "I Do's" before you say "I Do" to marriage, emotional purity, whom or what is your master?, walking in a love relationship with Christ, developing a ministry mindset, gratefulness, living with no regrets, cultivating closeness as a family, sibling relationships, dealing with a child going to Heaven. Gabrielle and Kira's key speaking focuses are the joy of being set apart for God's great purposes. Polished Pillars Ministries can do a retreat where we tailor design our speech topics for the needs of the audience. Also, individual staff can share their testimonies at a shorter event such as a chapel service. As part of her Centurion fellowship (Chuck Colson's program in training people in engaging secular society with a Biblical worldview) Kathryn has recently developed a seminar "For Whom or What are You Living?" tailor designed for young people on understanding and articulating Biblical worldviews and presents this in half-day to two day seminars. Please contact us if you are interested in booking the Pillars staff for your speaking needs. |
